Key Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, identify sales opportunities at all commercial, academic and NPO research organizations
  • Gain a thorough understanding Innovive's products, services and value proposition through on the job training
  • Oversee post-sale service, training and interaction with client - our goal is to provide the best customer experience possible
  • Pursue in-depth industry and application knowledge as well as acquire deeper selling, technical and financial skills
  • Participate in industry organizations, conventions, conferences, sales department meetings and external workshops

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and experience in direct sales, business development and account management
  • Experience with laboratory animal products preferred OR a background with biotech, pharmaceutical or biomedical research, animal husbandry or animal care with a desire to assist institutions with the purchase and implementation of Innovive’s equipment and services
  • Moderate financial expertise and/or an aptitude to learn and competently use company cost comparison tools in the sales process

Vice President of Engineering Job Description

Job Summary:

Innovive has an immediate opening for a dynamic Vice President of Engineering for our small but rapidly expanding engineering group. The successful candidate will bring the structure and rigor associated with a larger engineer group while being able to function in a smaller more hands on environment. We seek a team member who genuinely enjoys performance managing and mentoring your team, who is a strong communicator and who can provide the vision and drive for the Engineering team while participating fully in the senior leadership and strategic direction of the Company.

Job Description:

The Vice President of Engineering will be responsible for a broad range of activities including:

  • Providing leadership and vision for new product development including overseeing the development of manufacturable designs to agreed specifications within time and budget constraints, and the fostering of innovative solutions to customer needs
  • Managing continuous improvement for existing products including working closely with production managers to refine products to improve production outcomes and fostering a closed loop between engineering, quality control and production
  • Supervising Engineering projects associated with the automation of our internal production process including managing external vendors
  • Recruit and train additional team members in multiple engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and software

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key member of the management team that sets the company’s strategic direction and ensure that product development is focused on meeting and exceeding the customer requirements
  • Develop strategic planning for the direction and control of engineering activities
  • Formulate long-term objectives and standards of performance for the department
  • Assure that department achieves objectives and project completion within budget and time frame
  • Motivate staff and provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on project management
  • Hire and direct internal staff and consultant activities and provide leadership for outsourcing initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BSE (Masters degree preferred) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 15+ years of industry engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management position
  • Experience in the Medical Supplies or device industry or familiarity with our biomedical research customer base is preferred

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Job Description

Job Summary:

Innovive, a high-growth manufacturing company serving the Biomedical Research community is looking for a talented and creative Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to conceive, specify, design, test and document innovative and practical products for current and next generation capital equipment products which are used in support of biotech laboratory research.

Essential Duties:

  • Contribute to a wide variety of mechanical design projects to deliver our customers the best in product performance and reliability
  • Support existing products, new product development, and mechanical engineering support of company initiatives for automated production operations to advance our business performance and deliver our customers maximum value
  • Perform tasks of a specialized professional nature requiring a varied and thorough knowledge of engineering and scientific principles, methods, and theories

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive understanding of complex engineering concepts and applications
  • Proven mechanical design skills including advanced/expert SolidWorks (or equivalent) expertise is required
  • Expertise with design and manufacturing standards, practices, and methods, including machined parts, plastic parts, sheet metal and other forms
  • Ability to document 2D and 3D designs in the form of engineering drawings and models with appropriate tolerances for manufacture, part fit, function and inspection
  • Able to multi-task diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities
  • Experience with a variety of lab equipment including oscilloscopes, analyzers, and other instrumentation used for pressure and flow measurement
  • Experience or familiarity with production machines and tooling, CNC tools, 3D rapid prototyping, laser cutting and engraving, welding, as well as hand tools and other fabrication and production tools
  • Experience with scientific test methods and protocols
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively including technical reports and customer interactions
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with CE Standards a plus
  • The ideal candidate will be a naturally curious team-player, dynamic, analytical, creative thinker, with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work on own initiative

Required Education and Experience:

Logistics Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Logistics, Freight and Customs functions at corporate level:

  • Lead Warehousing processes and tools (racking system …)
  • Select and Manage freight forwarders

Lead 3PL selection and management:

Customs and regulations:

  • Ensure suppliers tariff codes are adequate

  • Lead WMS deployment


Own packaging design and solutions:

  • Local sites operations management to ensure consistency in the methods and process and to share best practices
  • Manufacturing departments to ensure lean management of internal flows
  • Quality department to apply quality system and product quality standards and SOPs
  • Supply Chain and Procurement


Effectively work with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Finance, and Human resources

Conduct employee performance reviews for direct reports. Recruit and hire staff as required.

Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers, staff, vendors, contractors and company executive personnel.

Deploy Lean Six-sigma for warehouse.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain management or a related field.

Ten (10) years experience in operations management, manufacturing management, Logistics/Transportation management, project management, regulatory understanding.
